Once the refund request has been submitted:
You can review the member's account -
- Account History - Like a payment, there will be a line item of the refund on the account history with a note of the refund.
- Member Note -The member receives a notification of the refund request and there is a note inserted into the member's account for reference. The notification says that the refund was processed to an account ending in 0000, this is just a place maker because the refund is processed onto the last form of payment.
You can review the Refund Report-
The chapter's refund history will load on the refund dashboard. You will have full visibility and reporting of all refunds, based on the date range you select. The report will initially load blank, but adjusting the date range will populate all refund history.
The module will track:
- Return type
- Requester
- Reason for refund
- Status
- Date issues
NOTE: If you don’t have access to the refund module, it may be Role and Permission based and only certain admins have access to request refunds.
***Once the refund is requested, it will be listed as Pending until it has been processed.
