When tracking your budget, you want to make sure you are accouing for any discounts you give your member.
When you are creating billing groups, think about if you will offer any discounts. Discounts are a tool that can help achieve chapter goals.
Some examples of Discounts:
- GPA Discount: offering this discount can help increase overall chapter goals in increase the chapter’s GPA.
- Prepayment Discount: need heavier collections at the beginning of the semester or even during the summer? Offering a discount to pay in advance can help with this.
If you do offer any type of discount, make sure you build it in your budget. Discounts can help achieve goals but if you don’t budget for them, you can run into issues that cause you to know have enough spending money for the term.
