Before you print your check, first check the following printer settings for your printer:
- Be sure that “scale to fit” is off
- Print size is set to 100% of the normal size
From greekbill select the banking tile, and then “go” on the print check box
- Start with a plain piece of paper in your printer
- Select one check you wish to print
- Click the print check button (You can print it again on the check stock, this is used as a sample for testing the alignment)
- With the sample printed to plain paper hold it over one of your real checks and be sure the alignment is correct
-
- If not:
- Click on edit margins setting and adjust the horizontal and vertical alignment settings as needed (keeping in mind that a value change of 75 is ~ 1”; so to move alignment by ½”, enter a value of ~38)
- Click on the apply & save button
- Do not use the “preview” button when you click on edit margins to check alignment for printing
- Select the same check you tried before, again with a plain piece of paper in the printer
- Check against one of your real checks to be sure alignment is now correct
- With the alignment corrected, go back and select Re-print check, with your check in the printer and print the check you need
- With the check printing aligned correctly, you can now print checks as needed going forward without having to align them
- Go to print checks, checking off the checks you wish to print.
