greekbill’s Bank Sync allows you to link your bank account with the greekbill platform. It saves you time from manually inputting check and deposit transactions. The bank sync will pull the transactions from your bank statement and allow you to tag each transaction with a vendor and chart of account.
- To review the bank accounts, click manage on the bank balance tile.
- You will then be taken to your bank account summary page, where you will see your bank accounts on file.
- Each bank will give you information about the account, such as if it is synced or not synced, if it is a checking or savings account, the number of transactions that need to be reviewed, the last date the bank was updated, and the bank balance.
- If you haven’t synced your bank account, click on the sync now button and follow the steps to link your bank account securely.
- Click on the bank account to review the synced transactions for linked bank accounts.
- All transactions are synced and will automatically display on your bank report. It is similar to what you would see on a bank statement.
- You can pull transactions by calendar date and filter through all transactions or transactions that only need reviewing. For example, you can check excluded transactions due to a manually inputted duplicate entry that automatically synced.
- Each new transaction will be assigned to an uncategorized vendor and uncategorized chart of accounts. You will need to categorize each transaction with a vendor and chart of accounts so it will roll into your greekbill budget.
