Member groups will make it easy for you to identify a group of members and keep them organized for your chapter. When you have a roster that is large taking some time to organize your members into sub-groups will make your life easier when it comes to assigning charges, emailing members, assigning contracts and payment plans, and member announcements ETC on the greekbill platform.
Pro Tip: Review your member group members at the beginning of every semester to make sure the correct members are assigned to the right member group for the current semester.
Invoice Dashboard > Member Group Tile > View All Groups
Here’s how to manage a member group:
1. From your Admin Dashboard, click on Invoice tan or the Members tab on the left sidebar to go to the Invoice Overview
2. Next, scroll down to your Member Group tile, and click View all groups
3. All current member groups will be displayed. You may perform a quick search by entering a member group name
ProTip: Pay attention to how many "Inactive" members are assigned to a member group and possibly remove them from the member group to avoid billing an Inactive member.
4. Once you located the member group you would like to manage, Once you Hover over it you will be given the option to click Edit or View.
to View, you can view the group’s details such as the title, description, and how many members are in the group. To make any changes, press the Edit Member Group button on the top right
Note: You can also delete the member group by clicking Delete member group on the top right on the view Member Group page.
to Edit, You will be sent to the page Member Group 1 of 3 pages where you can edit the member group title and description, once you have made sure the information is correct click continue.
- On the next page member Gropu 2 of 3, you will be able to manage the members that are selected for the member group. Members listed in the right-hand column are the members that will be included in the member group. You can manage the list by adding and removing the member by clicking on the blue (+) next to the member name you want to add and the red (X) next to the member name you want to remove.
- Once the list of members in the right-hand column is what you want, click review
- The Next page Member Group 3 of 3 is a review page if you click Show it will list the members. Once you have decided everything looks good, then you can wrap it up by selecting Finish.
- If you want to adjust the list, click Edit, and it will take you back to the edit page.
5. Return to the Member Group page by clicking Back to member groups on the top left. You'll be able to add a new member group from this page.
Once a group has been created, you will be able to edit and make changes at any time. We understand that your chapter may undergo changes like having new members or a new pledge class.
